Creatis

A year ago, CREATIS inaugurated with ING and KissKissBankBank the first incubator of Belgian companies dedicated to cultural and creative industries.

CREATIS, residence of cultural entrepreneurs, is a space devoted to entrepreneurship and innovation in the cultural fields: media, audiovisual, animation, music, architecture, web culture, advertising, fashion, plastic arts, photography, culinary arts , crafts, design, press, radio, heritage, live performance, public art … Supported by ING Belgium, the project aims to support and accelerate the development of companies in the cultural and creative sector. The incubator is located in the ING Art Center at Place Royale, which already houses the exhibitions organized by ING Belgium, becoming a place of permanent dialogue with the city and the society in the heart of Mont des Arts, in the center of Brussels .

The launch of this initiative has been very successful. More than 100 applications have been downloaded since the initial press conference in December 2016. This success shows that the arts, culture and creativity sector, although with huge public and commercial potential , needs a particular support to give the full measure of its capacity.
