We Are Founders
We Are Founders is a unique incubator for all those who want to successfully launch a start-up. Thanks to a free 9-month program, it helps (soon-to-be) entrepreneurs to turn their idea into viable business through workshops, coaching sessions and inspirational activities. Created as a result of collaboration between BeCentral, Google, Bruxelles Formation and BeAngels, the incubator benefits from the input of experts and mentors all along its program.

Our mission
We Are Founders had been created in 2021 to respond to the economic crisis caused by Covid-19, by supporting the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The aim was to remove barriers to entrepreneurship through a tailored startup incubation program inspired by the famous FightersProgram of Station F. After 1 year of functioning, although the foundations of the current program had already been laid, a willingness to professionalize and expand the program emerged. Kersel then took charge of the project, to further increase the impact of Brussels’ most inclusive incubator.

Our success
The initiatives undertaken for the second edition of We Are Founders have resulted in the program’s expansion.
Firstly, there has been a significant increase in the number of applicants, with 289 project applications from 303 different entrepreneurs for the 22-23 session, compared to 50 project applications for the 21-22 session. Secondly, the program has been internationalized to attract foreign startups to Belgium.
Additionally, the incubator’s positive impact has been further amplified by promoting social diversity and fostering women entrepreneurship.
